Section I. Administration of the Club shall be vested in elected officers who shall be responsible for the formulation of all Club policy as prescribed within the Constitution and Bylaws.
Section 2. The following officers shall be elected by the member ship of the Club, to serve a term of one (1) year: President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer In compliance with this article, the offices of Secretary and Treasurer may be combined into one and the same.
Section 3. The election of officers shall be held annually at the February meeting and the term of office shall run from the beginning of March of the year in which the election is held until the end of February of the following year. Nominations shall be made by individual members at the January meeting Any additional nominations may be made at the February meeting prior to the elections Voting shall be by either voice vote or secrete ballot. Upon any office, except that of President, becoming vacant for any reason, a special election shall be held at the next regular scheduled meeting to fill the vacant office for the remainder of the term.
Section 4 Resignation of Club Officer - A Club Officer may resign by submitting a written resignation to the President Such resignation shall become effective on the date submitted.
Section 1. Regular meetings shall be held once each calendar month on a regular schedule
Section 2 A quorum of the membership for the purpose of conducting the business of the Club shall consist of not less than 13 of the voting club members. The voting membership of the Club shall consist of those members who meet the criteria set in the by-laws under Article II, Section 2.
Section 3 Meetings shall be conducted in accordance with Robert's Rules of Order Revised
Section 3. The Vice-President shall perform such duties as are delegated to him by the President and shall succeed to the office of President in the event of death or resignation of the President. He shall preside at meetings in the event of a temporary absence of the President Additionally he shall act as the parliamentarian m and shall thus advise the presiding officer on questions of parliamentary procedure in accordance with Robert's Rules of Order Revised
Section 4. The Secretary shall keep the minutes of all meetings of the Club and shall be the official custodian of all the records of the Club. The Secretary shall direct the mailings of all notices required to be given and to conduct the correspondence of the Club. The Secretary shall keep an accurate census of the membership.
Section 5. The Treasurer shall be the official custodian of funds of the Club He shall collect all dues and monies of the Club and shall direct the accurate books of account He shall prepare periodic reports of the funds of the Club for presentation to the club membership and shall handle Club funds in accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws of the Council
Section 6. In the absence of both the President and Vice- President, the Secretary, and then the Treasurer shall assume the duties of the President
Section 2.
There shall be the following classes of
membership.
A regular member is entitled to vote in accordance with Article III Section 2 of the Constitution. A regular member is also entitled to use the flying she and all of its attendant facilities.
(b) Senior Citizens Membership - Any person who reaches his sixtieth (60th) birthday on or before June 1 5th of the year of membership and otherwise qualifies as a Regular Member shall be eligible for Senior Citizen Membership He is entitled to those privileges, constraints, and responsibilities consistent with Regular membership.
(c). Family Membership - Any member of the same family (mother, father, and children under the age of eighteen ( 18)), shall be eligible for Family Membership Family Membership must meet the requirements of Article 11, Section 2(a).
Section 2. Any changes in the dues will be determined by the Officers of the Club and shall be presented to the membership to be approved by a two-thirds (2/3) quorum vote
Section 3. Dues shall be payable annually by the 30th of April, but a member's failure to pay dues on that date shall not affect his good standing in the Club unless such failure continues for a period extending beyond the May meeting of the same year. Any member who has not paid dues by the said time shall be removed from the membership list of the Club.
Section 4. No refund shall be made to any member who decides to withdraw from further Club activities
Section 5. New members that join the club after I November of the current year, may pay their dues for the following year and receive membership for the remainder of the current year for no charge. New Member is intended to mean anyone who has been a nonmember for at least three (3) fiscal years (the fiscal year ending each April 30th)
Section 2. Annual budget proposals shall be presented to the Club by the Treasurer and approved by a two thirds (2/3) quorum vote This budget should be presented at the May meeting.
Section 3. Proposed expenditures of Club funds for budgeted items in excess of $100 00 shall be presented to the club by the Treasurer and approved by a two-thirds (213) quorum vote.
1. Safety shall be the
primary concern and responsibility of all
flyers.
2. The designated Field Safety Officer
is in charge of ALL operation at the field. All members, guests and
spectators present are required to abide by his ON THE SPOT decisions
and directions without immediate protest When the Safety Officer is not
present, a temporary Officer will be designated by the group present The
designated Safety Officer is charged with enforcing these rules, and
establishing any temporary rules deemed necessary for the Safety of the
group He has the authority to temporarily GROUND any pilot for
infractions of the rules or for operating equipment that may create a
safety hazard.
3. Students may not fly
unassisted. Student flight is permitted only when accompanied by am
instructor or a pilot.
4. Mufflers are required
on all engines of .09 Cubic Inch displacement and
larger.
5. All propellers must be of wood,
fiberglass or reinforced nylon construction Propellers with diameter of
six inches or less are exempt from this
rule.
6. A fire extinguisher of the proper type
will be readily available in the pits whenever a gasoline engine is
operated.
7. Every flyer is responsible for the
proper disposition of litter and the general upkeep of the
facility.
8. All flyers are required to display
their current AMA membership identification card when
flying.
9. No nonmember of the AMA will be permitted to operate aircraft at the filed.
I. When not otherwise properly in
use, all transmitters on site will be switched off and placed in the
designated transmitter impound area. THERE ARE
NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS BASIC REGULATION.
2. No one
may turn on a transmitter until they have determined that the frequency
is clear and that there is no known opportunity for interference with
other active frequencies. The burden and responsibility for making this
determination lies with each flyer.
3. Frequency control pins of
active flyers (or active transmitters) must be posted at the designated
point on the flight line.
4. To assure that all flyers will have
an equal opportunity to participate, frequency pins will be promptly
removed whenever the active transmitter is turned off (i.e. when the
flight or test is terminated). The transmitter with the frequency
control pin attached will be returned to the impound area.
1. All flying, from takeoff through
landing, will be conducted from the designated pilot area, maintaining a
minimum of twenty-five feet separation between transmitters to reduce
frequency interference. All takeoff nuns will begin from a center point
on the runway. Takeoffs from the flight-line or pits will not be
permitted.
2. A maximum of four flyers are permitted to fly
at any one time.
3 Frequency identification flags tags will be
displayed on the antenna of active transmitters.
4. Engines may
be started in the pits then plane must be carried to the flight line.
Taxiing in or into the pits is prohibited Engines must be started with
the propeller blast directed toward the flight-line, away from pilots
and/or other aircraft, people, or equipment.
5. All flight
operation will take place beyond a theoretical WALL erected along the
near edge of the runway. This is to prevent possible over flight of
spectators, pit area, parking area, pilot and other sensitive
areas.
6. The direction of takeoffs and landings, when not
dictated by the wind, will be determined by the safety officer present.
The landing pattern will be either left or right handed as
required.
7. The initial post-takeoff climb will be away from the
pit and spectator area.
8. Close encounters with full sized
aircraft will be avoided at all costs. A maximum altitude of 100 feet
will be in effect whenever a full-sized aircraft is in the immediate
area at less than 1,000 feet. Under normal conditions, the maximum
altitude for level flight will be 400 feet (national
standard).
9. All landings will be announced loud and clear by
the pilot, call out COMING IN when the turn is made onto final,
or DEAD-STICK whenever power is lost and landing is imperative.
No one will go beyond the WALL without loudly calling MAN ON THE
FIELD. After landing and the aircraft is clear of the runway,
FIELD CLEAR will be called by the pilot having just
landed.
10. The turn onto final approach WILL NOT be made
unless the field is clear. If it is not clear, the landing will be
aborted and the pattern reflew until the field is clear.
11. If
at any point in the landing procedure, short of actual touch-down, the
call DEAD-STICK is heard, the landing will be aborted and the
pattern reflown until the field is clear.
12. Aircraft will not
be left unattended on the flight line. Between flights, parking will be
done in the pit area only.
13. Spectators are not permitted in
the pits or on the flight line. Spectators is intended to mean anyone
not actively participating in flight operations, including guest of
members as well as casual observers.

15. In accordance with AMA
guidelines and as a courtesy to our nearby neighbors who live close
proximity to the flying field, we have adopted a sound limit of 95
